  1. I was in Washington last week for a conference and was taken for dinner to Georgia Brown’s – a REALLY big deal for a South African charity worker! I’ve always read about southern Cuisine and my mouth waters at the mere mention of Gumbo, grits and cobbler. I will definitely come back to DC – JUST for your food and ambience. A truly amazing place with incredible food, that I am craving back in a very cold Johannesburg, and fantastic staff! Thanks for the memories.

  2. Is each item in the thanksgiving dinner priced a la carte, or is there a blanket cost of the dinner? Will you be offering the same type of dinner for Christmas?

  3. This link is broken, I so wanted to see the recipe for this awesome dish. I was a patron at your restaurant 15 years ago and it is still a vivid memory!

  4. Hi can you please repost the recipe. The food here at Georgia Browns is Amazing! I would love to see the recipe for the shrimp and grits as the video is not here anymore. Thanks

  5. We were in DC last week for a breather. Our daughter is battling breast cancer and we drove from NY to get away. We made reservations at three restaurants and Georgia Brown’s was the hands down favorite. No, they were not the Michelin Star winner, but they were the best! My mouth is salivating just thinking about the catfish fingers, gumbo and shrimp and grits. Please share the three recipes with me. We will make the trip again. Be sure we will only need one reservation. Thank you for the food and God Bless you and the hands that prepares this wonderful food. You represent the true meaning of Southern Comfort!
